PARENT ATTITUDE QUESTIONNAIRES

NON-UNIFORM DAY – FRIDAY 13TH MARCH
Your child can come to school in their own clothes in exchange for an Easter egg for the Family Fun Easter Games Night on Thursday 26th March at 6.30pm.
LEARNING EXCELLENCE AWARD
As a school we have been awarded a ‘Learning Excellence Award’ – a prestigious award for quality learning experiences. This was awarded for our joint Art project with the other Euxton schools last year. Well done to the staff and pupils at Primrose Hill and indeed the other schools in Euxton.
SWIMMING – YEAR 1
Just a reminder that all pupils in Year 1 need to bring their swimming kits in tomorrow (Thursday 12th March) for their swimming lesson.
SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR – WEDNESDAY 18TH – TUESDAY 24TH MARCH
We are welcoming the Scholastic Book Club for our annual Book Fair on Wednesday 18th March for a week. The Book Fair will take place after school until 3.45 p.m. each evening where you will have the opportunity to browse and buy books. A magazine from which books can be ordered will be brought home with your child on Wednesday 18th March for parents who are unable to attend the Book Fair at school. We look forward to seeing many of you at the fair!
BOOK CHARACTER EGG DECORATING CHALLENGE – FRIDAY 27TH MARCH
Children are invited to decorate a hard-boiled egg to look like a book character. The eggs will be put on display in the hall and the winner from each class will receive a prize. We are egg-cited about seeing your decorative skills!
EASTER GAMES NIGHT – THURSDAY 26TH MARCH
Everyone is welcome to join our Family Fun Easter Games Night on Thursday 26th March at 6.30 p.m. There will be quizzes, spin the wheel, bingo, chocolate tombola, treasure hunt, champagne roll and lots more besides! Tickets can be purchased from the school office in advance, to be entered into a raffle, or on the night: adults £1.00 and children under 12 are free. You can bring your own refreshments but food will be served on the night.
EASTER BONNET PARADE DAY – FRIDAY 27TH MARCH
Children are invited to make an Easter Bonnet for Friday 27th March. Every child that enters will be asked to parade around the hall with their classmates to allow staff to choose a winner from each class. Every entrant will receive a small egg and the winning girl and boy from each class will receive a large egg. We look forward to seeing your creations!

KS1 FITNESS FUN CLUB – MONDAY 16TH – FRIDAY 20TH MARCH
The Fitness Fun Club starts on Monday 16th to Friday 20th March from 3.00 p.m. – 4.00 p.m. either on the field or on the playground. All pupils that have applied for a place have got one but must ensure they have their PE kit in school along with trainers and a warm sweatshirt. They will get changed in the Year 1 classroom. Please pick up your child from the school entrance unless they are going to After School Club afterwards.
ONE WAY TRAFFIC SYSTEM – MONDAY 16TH – FRIDAY 20TH MARCH
Our School Council would like to trial a voluntary one way traffic system next week and hope that you will be able to support us. Please read the accompanying letter linked to below, for more details.
FRIDY FAVOURITE HOT DINNER
After the Easter holiday we would like to offer your child the opportunity to enjoy one of the following hot dinners:
Pizza and Chips
Fish, Chips and Peas/Beans or
Jacket Potato with a choice of toppings including beans, cheese or tuna
all accompanied by salad and bread. There will be an assortment of desserts to follow. The cost will be £13.80 until May half term. If you would like your child to enjoy a Friday Favourite Hot Dinner then please complete the reply slip below and hand it to the school office.by Friday 20th March. Those children who already receive a hot dinner in school will automatically be included.
Unfortunately we have noticed some pupils with head lice in the last week, mainly in Reception. Please can you check your child’s hair and treat where necessary. Your co-operation to help eradicate them is appreciated!

EUXTON GIRLS FOOTBALL CLUB
Euxton Girls Football Club will be running their annual Girls Football Tournament on Friday 8th May 2015 from 4.15pm to 7.30 p.m. at Greenside playing fields. If any girls in Year 3 and 4 or Year 5 and 6 are interested in taking part on behalf of the school then please complete the permission slip below and return it to Mrs Vost or Mrs Hacking by Friday 13th March. Once we know we have enough interest for a team we will provide further details.

CHANGE 4 LIFE FESTIVAL
Congratulations to Charlie, Ewan, Leon, Jamie, Jess, Mya, Isaac and Liam who took part in this event. They all thoroughly enjoyed themselves and were a credit to the school.
A member of staff will arrive at Spar at approximately 8.25 a.m. and leave promptly at 8.30 a.m. for school, with no stopping en route to pick up additional children. Please see Mr Caunce for more information.
