Thank you for all your support over the last twelve months. It has been an excellent year and your children have continued to work hard and achieve the best that they can. I wish you all a great summer holiday and look forward to seeing you all refreshed in September.
CELEBRATION ASSEMBLY ON FRIDAY 11TH JULY 2014
MISS GILSON IS LEAVING US!
Miss Gilson is leaving us on Friday 18th July as Mrs Kanski returns from her maternity leave. I am sure you will join me in thanking Miss Gilson for her contribution and commitment over the last two terms. We wish her well in her new job in September.
Dinner money will remain the same at £2.30 per dinner in September. Slips for dinner money will be sent out on the first day back, Thursday 4th September. The cost will be £4.60 for the 1st week and £11.50 for the 2nd week. Thanks!
Please ensure that your child brings everything home at the end of this term. If you are missing anything, all ‘lost property’ will be displayed on the table outside class 5 at 3.00pm on Thursday 17th July in order for parents to look and hopefully reclaim their child’s belongings. Any items unclaimed will be deposited in the school clothing bank.
Is your child interested in playing rugby? If so, Chorley RUFC is currently recruiting for their under 11’s team. Training is FREE with fully qualified coaches and takes place on Saturday morning 11.00am – 12noon at the rugby club itself – Chancery Road, Astley Village. For further information please call Andy Kavanagh on 07939 979323.

I would like to remind parents of the following:

Girls Uniform – checked yellow or green summer dress or navy/grey skirt, white or yellow polo shirt, white socks, black school shoes and a school jumper or cardigan (available from NU Uniform in Chorley).
Please ensure everything is labelled clearly with your child\’s name to avoid it ending up in the lost property box.
LOST – MINECRAFT SKELETON KEYRING
George in Year 2 lost a Minecraft Skeleton Keyring on Monday, possibly in the school grounds. If anyone finds it, please can they hand it in to Mrs Vost at the school office. Many Thanks.
