PTFA MEETING – WEDNESDAY 17TH SEPTEMBER

The first PTFA meeting of this year will be held in school tonight at 6.00 p.m. in the Staff Room.  The PTFA play a vital role in raising funds for the school and are integral to school life.  If you feel that you can contribute in any way then it would be great to see you at this meeting

Y6 BOREATTON PARK

The next payment for the Year 6 trip to Boreatton Park of £60 is due by Friday 26th September.  Please bring in your payment card so that it can be updated.

Mad ScienceMAD SCIENCE

All pupils in KS1 and KS2 who have applied for Mad Science have secured a place.  The first session starts on Monday 6th October.

SCHOOL PHOTOGRAPHS

Tempest Photography will be in school all morning on Friday 3rd October to take individual and family photographs.  If you would like your child to have a photograph taken with a pre-school child then please bring them along before school starts at 8.15am.  Thanks!

SCHOOL DINNERSSchool Dinners

School dinners cost £2.30 per day or £11.50 per week.  Dinner slips will be sent out on Thursdays for collection on Friday mornings with exact amounts on.  If you wish to pay up to the end of this half term, the amount is £57.50 per child (25 lunches w/e from Monday 22nd September).  Cheques should be made to LCC.  Cash should be in an envelope clearly labelled with your child’s name and class.

TrumpetBRASS LESSONS AND BAND

The first payment of £32.50 (Autumn Term 1) for pupils taking small group brass lessons is due by Friday 26th September.  Please can pupils remember to bring in their instruments on Thursday!

Brass Band starts again on Thursday 18th September from 3.00 p.m. to 4.15 p.m.

DATA COLLECTION FORM AND MEDICAL/EDUCATIONAL VISIT FORM

Today we have sent home an orange medical/educational visit form to children in Years 1 to Year 6 in addition to a yellow data collection form.  Please could these be filled in for each child and returned to school by Wednesday 24th September so that our records can be updated.  It is vital that we know about any allergies/illnesses as soon as possible.  Many Thanks!

 Children seem to enjoy the social life the Walking Bus offers each morning.

A member of staff will arrive at the Spar at approximately 8.25am and leave promptly at 8.30am for school, with no stopping en-route to pick up additional children. Please see Mr Caunce for more information.

TOKENS/VOUCHERS

We are still collecting Batteries and Clothing, Bedding etc. for the clothes bank at the rear of the school.  Your support is really appreciated!
