PICKING UP AND DROPPING OFF AT SCHOOL
It has come to my attention that some parents are leaving their car engines running with unaccompanied children in the back whilst picking up their child from school. I ask for your co-operation in making sure that car engines are turned off and children are not left unattended in order to keep pupils and parents safe.
Toast costs 20p per day. If you wish your child to have toast in the Autumn Term (Thursday 4th September – Friday 19th December) the total cost will be £14.40. Please complete the slip below and return it with payment before Wednesday 9th July. Thanks.
As you are aware the school follows a strict No Jewellery Policy. Please ensure that your child leaves his/her loom bands at home otherwise they will be confiscated during school time. The wearing of watches is allowed.
PTFA FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT AND BARBEQUE
A big thank you to everyone who supported the school in this event on Saturday. It was a striking success and raised over £400 towards the PTFA funds. A special Thank You to the PTFA who worked tirelessly in preparing for this event.
SCHOOL LIBRARY BOOKS
We are now collecting in all School Library books. Please ensure they are returned as soon as possible.
SCHOOL DINNERS OR PACKED LUNCHES
If your child wishes to change from packed lunches to school dinners, or vice-versa, after the Summer Holiday, please inform Mrs Vost in writing by the morning of Friday 11th July. Thank you!
YEAR 6 SUMMER FAIR
On Wednesday 9th July, the pupils in Year 6 are planning to hold a Summer Fair. More details will follow nearer the time.
In order to hold the Fair, they need your help. If you have any unwanted toys, gifts, books or games that they can sell at the Fair, they would be most grateful. These can be given directly to the Year 6 pupils or taken to the class from Monday 30th June. Year 6 would like to thank you in anticipation of your support!
Just a reminder that there will be no more Rounders Club this term. Thank you to all the pupils that have taken part this year!
