PARENT ATTITUDE QUESTIONNAIRE RESPONSE

As previously mentioned in a recent newsletter, the Parent Attitude Questionnaires have been sent to LCC who will analyse all the responses.  However, I will be taking the opportunity each week to respond to some of the written comments that we received, detailing what has been, is being or will be done to address your views.

Comment 1

‘We would like to see better communication between school and the Out of School Club’

Response

We realise that good communication between school and Out of School Club is essential in order to ensure the safeguarding of pupils at Euxton Primrose Hill.  As a result of your feedback we have altered the contracted working hours for the Out of School Club manager so that Miss. Collison, the new manager, is in school for three afternoons during the week.  She can therefore be contacted directly on the school number via the office on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 1:30 p.m.  This also allows her to work closely with school, pick up registers for activities being provided after school by teachers, be aware of any sporting events that are taking place off site and collect any messages that have been left in the office.  Miss. Collison will also be producing regular newsletters to parents, which will also further improve communication.

In addition you will now be able to contact Out of School Club staff directly during normal hours using the new mobile number 07548944202.

We are confident that these changes will greatly improve communication between school and Out of School Club.  However, please be assured that you can contact us at any time should you have any queries.
