CELEBRATION ASSEMBLY ON FRIDAY 19TH SEPTEMBER 2014
Thank you very much for your parental questionnaire responses. In total we received 66 replies. The comments will be analysed and we will share our findings over the coming months.
LADIES NIGHT – FRIDAY 7TH NOVEMBER
Our very popular Ladies Night is taking place on Friday 7th November at 7 p.m. Tickets are now on sale from the school office! Entry is £3 and includes a glass of fizz, raffle ticket and truffle on arrival. Tickets purchased in advance will be entered into a prize draw.
PUPIL ABSENCE DUE TO ILLNESS
Please can all parents ensure that they telephone the school office on the first day of absence and then on the third day of absence. This should be followed up by a letter upon the pupil’s return detailing the medical reason for absence. This system is extremely important in ensuring accurate attendance records and safeguarding pupils.
PTFA HALLOWEEN DISCO – THURSDAY 23RD OCTOBER
Our Halloween Disco is taking place on Thursday 23rd October. Tickets are now on sale from the school office. Entry is £2 and includes a drink and packet of sweets or crisps. Tickets need to be purchased in advance and brought to the disco. Fancy dress is optional.
FRIDAY FAVOURITE HOT DINNER
After the October half term holiday we would like to offer your child the opportunity to enjoy one of the following hot dinners:
- Pizza and Chips
- Fish, Chips and Peas/Beans or
- Jacket Potato with a choice of toppings including beans, cheese or tuna
all accompanied by salad and bread. There will be an assortment of desserts to follow. The cost will be £16.10 until Christmas. If you would like your child to enjoy a Friday Favourite Hot Dinner then please complete the reply slip (in the paper/PDF version available for download below) and hand it to the school office.by Friday 17th October. Those children who already receive a hot dinner in school will automatically be included.

If your child wishes to change from packed lunches to school dinners, or vice-versa, after the October Half Term holiday please inform Mrs Vost in writing by the morning of Wednesday 22nd October.
CAULIFLOWER CARDS CHRISTMAS CARD PROJECT
Just a reminder that all money and completed order forms must be returned to the child’s class teacher by Friday 10th October. Cheques should be made payable to ‘LCC’. Class teachers will send all cheques in a big envelope to the school office. All funds raised will go towards the Euxton Primrose Hill PTFA Funds. Many thanks in anticipation of your support!

Thursday 13th November – In thanks for a mystery parcel and wrapping paper. Pupils to bring a gift appropriate for same age and sex as themselves please.

LITTLE LEAGUE SPORTS – OCTOBER HALF TERM

FUTURE PRESTON TOURS – SATURDAY 18TH OCTOBER
Future Preston Tours are presenting E.T., bringing a heart-warming family favourite to life for a new generation. You will help E.T. return home and take part in a magical moon-lit cycle ride, experience an interactive performance and watch a one-off exclusive screening at an unexpected location! Children seem to enjoy the social life the Walking Bus offers each morning.
A member of staff will arrive at the Spar at approximately 8.25am and leave promptly at 8.30am for school, with no stopping en-route to pick up additional children. Please see Mr Caunce for more information.

Congratulations to all pupils in the red house who achieved the most points last week.
