PARENT ATTITUDE QUESTIONNAIRE RESPONSE
As previously mentioned in a recent newsletter, the Parent Attitude Questionnaires have been sent to LCC who will analyse all the responses. ‘The schools ICT equipment needs updating’
‘Some of the classrooms are looking tired/need updating’
At Primrose Hill our vision is to deliver a 21st Century education and we are eager to ensure that pupils have access to the very best equipment in order to support their learning. This year we have invested £30,000 in new technology, which is in the process of being installed in school. This includes a new server, 50 new laptops to replace the ageing computers and 30 iPads with portable charge and sync trolleys. The server and iPads are already in place and the laptops are due to be installed in the next phase of our ICT development. The iPads are already having a huge impact on pupils learning and is greatly changing the way in which we deliver our curriculum.
We have also replaced lots of furniture within classrooms this year and have new cupboards being fitted in most rooms over the coming week. The new furniture has cost the school £5000 and will hopefully help to make the classrooms look and feel more modern and comfortable.
I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who supported our Christmas Fair on Friday night. It was a fantastic success and raised a massive £2600 towards the PTFA funds. A special thank you goes to the PTFA for all their hard work and preparation for this event. We hoped you all enjoyed it!
We still have some unclaimed raffle prizes so please check at home to see if you are one of the lucky winners:
Please bring your ticket to the school office, as soon as possible, to claim your prize.
