Yesterday year 6 went on a dinosaur hunt! The bones of 5 dinosaurs had been discovered in the grounds of Primrose Hill, rather scattered due to animals, wind, water and land movement, and it was their job as palaeontologists to locate all the bones (this was the hardest part!) and reassemble correctly. Teamwork, noting down accurately the quadrants in which the bones were found, use of scientific knowledge of skeletons, observation skills and careful construction were all needed to succeed. The ability to spot minute differences between very similar bones was also very handy! Congratulations to those groups that managed it.
