The Sports Premium is funding in addition to the school’s budget and must be spent on improving the provision of PE and Sport in school. At Euxton Primrose Hill we place high emphasis on developing rounded pupils who are fit and ready to learn and welcome the additional funding to improve PE in our school. Up until September 2017, schools received a set figure of £8,000 and also an additional £5 per pupil. From September 2017, schools received double this amount i.e. £16,000 and £10 per pupil. Schools must demonstrate an impact on improving PE/Sport and Health outcomes for pupils as a result of this funding.
In 2017/18 Primrose Hill will receive an anticipated £19,080 to improve PE/Sport and Health outcomes for pupils. To see how we intend to allocate the sports premium funding for the academic year 2017/18 click here.
