Some days at Primrose Hill are simply magical – today was one of those days for the children in class 4.
Having studied the 1940s with a particular focus on the events & people of WWII, today they celebrated in style. Within the company of their family & friends, they presented their projects, sang their hearts out, read beautifully written & emotive poetry and danced their socks off!
There were tears of laughter & nostalgia, along with those of pride throughout the afternoon. It was a wonderful community event – on behalf of all the children & staff, thank you to all those who helped make it such a memorable occasion.
At the children’s request, there was no charge for the home baked refreshments, instead they requested that donations were made to ‘Help for Heroes’ – a fitting charity. I’m delighted to announce that we raised £53.
