The children are so pleased with their money containers! I was so impressed with their designs and stitching skills. Good job team Snowdon!
Today, Snowdon class started to make their money containers. Our class was absolutely silent as children concentrated really, really hard! We can’t wait to share the finished products.
This morning Key Stage 2 had a special assembly led by Andy who is a Christian from St Stephen’s Church in Preston. He came to tell us all about how and why Christians celebrate Christmas. He had lots of fun ways to teach us including games and a teachers quiz!
The children have thoroughly enjoyed reading the wonderful book Leon and the Place Between. They have created their own characters, a new setting and are now ready to write their own ending to the story. Good work team.
The children had a great time completing circuit training this morning. We had some fantastic tunes to work out with, some great determination shown!
As part of our new topic on Europe, the class have been learning the names and location of countries in Europe using atlases.
Today we have learnt a game to help us become more fluent and accurate when recalling times tables. It’s called Perfect Times – ask your child how to play at home!
Year 5, 6 and y4 Snowdon enjoyed another informative and entertaining science show with Adrian which was all to do with forces today.
Today in Ben Nevis class, we learned all about Spain. This involved trying some traditional Spanish tapas which the children loved. As well as this, the children learned to have a short conversation with their friends in Spanish.
