Our school uniform is an important part of our school identity. It helps children to feel part of our school community and ensures that our pupils are dressed appropriately for learning and school activities.
👕 EYFS & KS1 Uniform
- Green V-neck jumper or cardigan with school logo
- White polo shirt
- Grey trousers, shorts, skirt or pinafore
- Plain grey or black socks or grey tights
- Black school shoes
In warmer weather, children may wear a checked yellow or green summer summer dress with white socks.
👔 KS2 Uniform
- Green V-neck jumper or cardigan with school logo
- White shirt
- School tie*
- Grey trousers, shorts, skirt or pinafore
- Plain grey or black socks or grey tights
- Black school shoes
In warmer weather, children may wear a checked yellow or green summer dress with white socks.
*Children are presented with a school tie, purchased through the PTFA, as they transition from KS1 to KS2.
👞 Shoes
Children should wear plain, appropriate black school shoes for everyday school use.
Trainers should only be worn on PE days.
🏃 PE Kit
Children receive details of the PE kit required at the beginning of each school year.
Children in EYFS may wear their school white polo shirt for PE and should wear sensible, suitable white-soled Velcro trainers. Laces are not permitted for EYFS pupils.
Children in Years 1–6 wear a house-coloured T-shirt with the school logo for PE. House colours are:
🟢 Green
🔴 Red
🟡 Yellow
🔵 Blue
Children may also wear black tracksuit/jogging bottoms and a school hoodie for outdoor PE.
White-soled trainers are required for indoor PE in Years 1–6.
Children should attend school in their PE kit for the full school day when PE is scheduled.

The following items are available with the Euxton Primrose Hill school logo:

- PE house-coloured T-shirts
- School PE hoodies
Our uniform can be purchased from our approved suppliers:
All other uniform items can be purchased from any retailer, including supermarkets and second-hand retailers, as long as they meet our school uniform requirements.
💚 Keeping uniform affordable
We are committed to keeping the cost of school uniform as low as possible. Only items carrying the school logo need to be purchased from our approved suppliers. Everything else can be bought wherever families find it most convenient and affordable.
We also hold termly uniform swaps, supported by our PTFA, giving families the opportunity to pass on good-quality uniform and reduce waste. Details are shared through Wednesday Weekly and PTA communications.
💚 Jewellery, Hair & Personal Appearance
No Jewellery
Euxton Primrose Hill operates a strict NO JEWELLERY policy for health and safety reasons.
This includes:
- Earrings and spacers
- Bracelets and wristbands
- Loom bands
- Other jewellery
Earrings/Spacers cannot be worn or taped over.
We appreciate that children may have had their ears pierced outside of school. However, our uniform policy applies throughout the school year and we will not make exceptions to the no-jewellery rule.
If your child has jewellery that does not meet our school uniform expectations, please contact the school office if you need to discuss any difficulties.
NO JEWELLERY — INCLUDING EARRINGS
💇 Hair
Hair should be kept neat and, where it is shoulder length or longer, tied back.
Only discrete hair accessories in dark or school colours are permitted.
Shaved designs and hair colouring are not permitted.
⌚ Watches & Personal Items
Children may wear a sensible watch, but this must not have a camera or features that could disrupt learning.
Children should not bring valuable items, toys or other unnecessary belongings to school. We cannot guarantee the safety of personal possessions brought into school.
🏷️ Please Label Everything!
Please make sure that all uniform, coats, PE kits and personal belongings are clearly labelled with your child's name.
This makes it much easier for misplaced items to be returned to their owner.
Working Together
We understand that there may occasionally be circumstances where families experience difficulties with uniform.
If you are unsure about an item of uniform or are experiencing a problem, please speak to the school office before your child comes to school in something that does not meet our uniform expectations. We will always listen and do our best to help.
Our uniform expectations apply consistently to all pupils. This helps us to be fair to everyone and ensures that all children know what is expected of them.
When children attend school wearing items that do not meet our uniform policy, we will work with families to resolve the issue and ensure that the school's expectations are followed.
