School Awards & Recognition
We are proud that our school has been recognised through a range of awards and quality marks celebrating the work of our pupils and staff.
These awards reflect different aspects of life at Primrose Hill, including teaching and learning, science, technology, outdoor learning, sport, sustainability and enrichment.
Apple Distinguished School
We were delighted to be recognised as an Apple Distinguished School for 2023–2026, recognising innovation, leadership and educational excellence in the use of Apple technology to support creativity, collaboration and critical thinking.
Learning Outside the Classroom
We have achieved the LOtC Gold Mark, recognising our commitment to providing frequent, continuous and progressive opportunities for learning beyond the classroom.
Primary Science Quality Mark
We are proud to have achieved the Primary Science Quality Mark for the third consecutive time, recognising our commitment to high-quality science teaching and learning and strong science leadership.
School Games Platinum Award
We are incredibly proud to have achieved the School Games Platinum Award three times, recognising our commitment to PE, sport and physical activity.
Our sporting provision has also been recognised through the Chorley School Sports Partnership, including awards for participation, whole-school impact, health and wellbeing, fair play and the Spirit of the Games.
Eco-Schools Green Flag
We are passionate about caring for our environment and are proud to have achieved the Eco-Schools Green Flag Award across three consecutive assessments.
History Quality Mark – Gold
In 2024, we achieved the Gold Standard for the History Quality Mark, recognising the strength of our history curriculum, pupils' knowledge and understanding, the quality of their work and the strength of history leadership.
