Welcome to Rivington Class. Year 3 is an exciting stage of your child’s learning journey as they begin Key Stage 2 and take on new challenges, responsibilities and opportunities.

In Rivington Class, we work closely alongside Pendle Class, our other Year 3 class, to provide a consistent and enriching learning experience. Through shared activities and curriculum experiences, we foster a strong sense of community across Year 3.

Throughout the year, children will develop their reading, writing and maths skills through a broad and engaging curriculum that encourages curiosity, creativity and independence. Lessons provide opportunities for practical learning, discussion, investigation and collaboration.

Rivington Class is taught by Mr. Davies, who is committed to helping every child achieve their full potential. Children are encouraged to develop confidence, resilience and a love of learning through high-quality teaching and exciting learning opportunities.

We strive to create a positive and supportive environment where children feel valued, motivated and ready to succeed. Alongside academic achievement, we place great importance on developing responsibility, resilience and strong friendships.

We believe that working in partnership with parents and carers is key to helping children thrive, and we value open communication throughout the year.
