Our Aim
We aim to develop a close partnership with parents and carers, involving and supporting them in their child's development.
Primrose Hill is an open and welcoming school that places great importance on effective communication with our families. We know that children thrive when home and school work closely together, so parents are always welcome to get in touch when advice is needed or a concern arises, however small.
Keeping in Touch
Website - Our website contains important information about school life, including curriculum information, policies, term dates and other useful information for families.
Arbor - Arbor is our main communication platform for parents and carers. Important messages, reminders and information relating to your child, including updates about clubs, activities and events, will be sent through the Arbor app.
Wednesday Weekly - Our Wednesday Weekly is also sent through Arbor each week and contains our latest school news, key dates, reminders and updates. We encourage parents and carers to read this each week to keep up to date with everything happening at Primrose Hill.
Website Class Pages - Your child's class page on our website also contains information and updates specific to their year group, so we encourage families to check this regularly.
Contacting School
We have an open and welcoming approach and value opportunities to speak with our families.
At the beginning and end of the school day, however, our teachers' priority is ensuring that children enter and leave school safely, calmly and happily, and that children are collected by the appropriate adult.
Wherever possible, we therefore ask that messages, queries or information are passed through the school office. This helps us to make sure that information reaches the right person and allows our staff to give their full attention to the children in their care.

If you need to discuss something specifically relating to your child's learning, wellbeing or school experience, the school office will ensure that your message is passed to the appropriate member of staff.
Working Together
Good communication works best when home and school work in partnership. We will always aim to respond to concerns sensitively and appropriately and ask that communication between school and families remains respectful and constructive, with the best interests of our children at its heart.
